EN: Is freaking cold in Bucharest, it feels like winter. Come on, I want some fall first! 
As you might have guessed, this look is from a while ago when the weather was more friendly. This jacket, very similar to those worn by cheerleaders in the US, is very popular for some time now. This is my first acquisition and I'm planning on owning more pieces like this. Do you fancy them? I do think they are versatile and can be worn easily with a dress or skirt and sneakers maybe. I chose a casual combo with a twist: ripped jeans and heels. You can also see another way I wore those jeans in the IT watch and a cool-casual look post.
I do have some other outfits in store, so be prepared to see a few looks this upcoming week.

EN: It's raining cats and dogs, is cold and I'm showing you a summer outfit. I have to tell you that on September 22 I've celebrated 5 years of blogging. Is been such an wonderful journey, it definitely had its ups and downs, but all in all, I loved it. I'm not sure how many years from now on I will do it, but I do hope will be many. And I do hope you will still be here and read all my blabbering and admire or criticize my outfits. :)
As for this look, I wore a dress as a top, paired with some skinny jeans and chunky floral heels and that's it. It has a boho vibe. Hope you enjoy it! Have a fantastic week, guys!

EN: I admit today is not my best day, but when I saw the photos from this post with that big smile the day began to get a little better. I was thinking there are only two months left until my 32 years anniversary. Not so excited about that, all that crosses my mind is: oh my, only 8 years until 40. :)) I have in mind some major changes, some of them have already been made (if you remember I've talked about that in a previous post), some of them will be soon. I just hope I will find the courage and the determination that I need.

Gosh, I feel like is time for a party! Is been a while since I've attended a cool party, either a fancy one or a more relaxed one. And I'm so in the mood. I'm thinking more of a fancy, chic party. I really want to dress up. EN: Is weekend so I have for you a simple, casual outfit, maybe appropriate for a walk if you replace the high heels with some sneakers. I thought I should take advantage of these incredibly hot days we're still having and wear again a mini skirt (did the same in this previous post). At least now when the weather allows it I have to bare my legs, because I will definitely miss it in the next months. What surprises me is the fact that although we are having a heat wave, many people still dress like in autumn, just because is September. Come on, guys!

EN: The clock keeps ticking, time flies again. It flies so fast that I can't tell whether is night or day. I don't want it to fly like that, I want my time back. The years go too fast, I can't keep up with them. Look, is September already, where did the summer went?! Somewhere where I won't be able to recover it. At least I have these outfits to remind me of it, even though it wasn't the best summer, even though is one more summer I didn't enjoyed.
A summer day in which I wore a skirt that is too short. But you know what? I felt great wearing it. And with the white top it was a perfect match, it made such an interesting contrast. I will be wearing them in autumn too in other lovely combos.
I'm listening to the clock again, this time hoping it will bring a new better day.

Dear fall, I'm waiting for you impatiently. I so want to rock my fall wardrobe, I miss layering, is so much fun! But I do have to add some pieces of clothing that are missing for this season. One of them is the jacket. I do own a few, but I always want more. I like to have them in different fabrics, models, colors, so I can combine them with most of my clothes.

EN: It's almost a too quiet night. Or it might be the drowsiness caused by the lack of sleep, or the pouring rain, that makes me feel like this. It has been almost two days since I last slept. My insomnia remembered me and doesn't want to go, but I will make it go! I'm wearing my summer shorts and is the first time in months that I get goose bumps and chills, a clear sign that fall is here. I'm not even sleepy, I just have an overwhelming melancholy. Yes, and a disappointment caused by everything that is happening in my life lately. Stop, this is supposed to be a post about fashion and it has to be! Is far from a personal journal.
Fashion, this is what we talk about. And also about how much orange this outfit has. But it is beautiful! This dress is not the most flattering, but I still like it, God damn it! It will look a lot better on a taller and skinnier person. I just didn't cared about that and wore it anyway. A tip: if you also like it you can find it on sales from 75$ to 17,83$. Wow!

EN: Oh, melancholy, you are back again! You always come to me when school is almost ready to begin. I have so many sweet memories regarding my school years. I miss that period and I can't believe how many years have passed since then. I have a school/highschool near the apartment I live in and I always hear the teachers and the students on the first day of school when they get together in the yard and announce the begin of a new school year. Is beautiful and I miss it so!
I had to say goodbye to summer with this mini photoshoot in the park wearing this cute maxi dress. I know it is said that horizontal stripes are flattering only for thin girls, but I think I pulled this look off. I don't wear maxi dresses too often, but I do adore them. I can rarely find a dress that is not too long for a short girl like myself. This one is too long too, that is why I had to include the belt. But I still like it nonetheless. What do you think, yey or ney?

EN: Babes, I've missed wearing jeans. I took advantage of the low temperatures we had here more than a week and a half ago and with lots of courage I've put them on. I don't dare to wear long jeans in summer, the heat is criminal. Not to tell you that I was so eager to wear this cool vest! I already imagine many combos for fall. EN: Hello, babes! I don't know why all the fuss with the coming of fall when the temperatures here are extremely high and the sun still burns the skin. And I heard is going to be like that for a while. So, the right thing to do is bring you a summer outfit. I was looking for a place to take photos when I came across this London bus parked somewhere in the city. I really liked it, and although my outfit didn't matched with it, I decided to shoot some photos. I'm wearing the controversial culottes, one of my favorite piece of clothing. I love culottes and I regret not having more pairs, but I need to take care of this issue!
I'm happy my hair has grown a little and I can wear it like that, I really missed it! In fact I wanted to cut it short this month, but when I saw that now I can do more hairdos with it, I decided it to keep like this for now.

EN: I'm happy that the weather is still good right now. I can wear my lovely tops and skirts easily. But I do get that melancholy knowing the fall is fast approaching. EN: Is been a rather quiet month here on the blog, but an extremely hectic one in my life. I've took some huge decisions, made some big changes. I'm still not sure if they were the right ones, I think time will tell. And I do hope these decisions won't transform in my biggest regrets.
As for the outfit, the photos were taken in a more calm period, you can see I was all smiles and in a very good mood. Is one of my favorite outfits from this summer, a look that I feel most comfortable wearing. The Coke tee is a great piece and although I'm not so much of a Coke drinker I really enjoy this top. EN: Lately I've been posting one casual look and one elegant look. It seems I keep following that pattern, because after the sporty-chic look from my previous post, now is time again for an elegant outfit. My hair didn't had multiple shades of blue just yet. You can read my post Dare to mix prints! if you want to find out more about my experience.
Today's dress has a lovely orange color, although in the photos seems red. I got it from a second hand store along with a too large blazer that ended up in the donation bag. I paid a modest amount of money on the dress, but it looks like a million bucks! I like everything about it, the flattering shape, the fabric, the color. The photos doesn't do it justice. The earrings were just 1 euro, bought them from a fair where I've attended as a seller. 
What I want to highlight here is in fact the message that this blog wants to send: you can be chic even with a small budget.

EN: Since my hair got blonde, I've decided to go wild and do to it whatever I feel like it. Now I'm in the blue/green period. In fact I wanted to do just some highlights in blue, green, purple, pink and orange, but when I washed it the blue spread to all the other colors. :)) The result: this undetermined hair color. :)) I do think it looks funky though. Again I have to thank Pravana for all the amazing hair dyes. I just love the colors they have. The Vivids, Pastels and Neons ranges are the best! You have to try them if you want colorful hair. They also have the ChromaSilk range that it is unique in that it can be used both as permanent dye, as well as semi-permanent dye, simply using a different oxidant. The hair care products and the hair styling products are really good too. I'm sure if you try something from Pravana you will become a loyal customer.
As for the outfit, wild is the word too. I've dared to mix different type of stripes and I think the outfit turned out pretty nice, if you ask me. The pants were 3/4, but because I'm really short that length was really weird on me, so I just opened the stitch and made them for my liking. They are very light and good for wearing in summer.

EN: Do you ever feel trapped on your daily routine and forget how to live, I mean really live?! I am in this situation for a while and I'm looking for a way out. I feel like I am in vicious circle and I'm in a fight to stop it. I do think we often forget what is important in life and we focus too much on our job, on a project, etc, and we don't take in consideration the small things that makes us happy. We often think success is equal with happiness, but most of the times we sacrificed so much in our way to success that when we finally achieve it we no longer feel content. And after we reached a goal we want more and more and more. How about being happy when we spend time with the family, with our friends or when we are taking a walk, how about we enjoy the coffee in the morning while admiring the view, how about that, guys, how about cherishing those moments? I dare you for a while to forget about everything except what makes you happy, focus on that, find out what really makes you wake up in the morning and make the best of it!

As for the outfit, I'm in the sporty-chic mood right now. The baseball shirt inspired me to create this kind of look. You will see me more often wearing casual clothes with a twist. The watch is pretty awesome because is made of paper and tearproof and waterresistant TYVEK. I have it for while and wore it only once. You can see that outfit here. EN: I guess many of you are on vacation now and having a great time, but I'm still in Bucharest and I have a new summery post for you. A dress with a floral print, colorful, chic, perfect for summer. It makes an interesting contrast with my latest post where I wore an outfit with a totally different style. I always like to make different combinations. EN: I can't believe how hot it is in Bucharest, at 9 a.m there were 35 ºC (95 ºF). Freaking hot! In this weather is so hard to dress elegant, all you want is to throw some clothes on that will keep you cool a bit. Although is a real challenge! Btw, you can rarely see buses with air conditioning, I think there are 50 ºC there and no air at all, is a crime! You can't imagine how I hate that. Speaking of which, I was waiting for a bus today when another one, not the one that I needed, stopped at the station. All the people inside were dying from the heat, some of them had fans to make some air. And the bus had a huge commercial all over it saying: "Discover the best sensation of coolness!". What a huge paradox! I must admit I really laughed. I also wanted to take a picture, but my phone decided just then to stop working. Bummer!

I want to talk a little about the outfit too. If you remember I was telling you in one of my previous posts that lately I'm a big fan of fringes. I only had black clothes with fringes, now I thought it was about time to add something more colorful: this denim top. It looks really cool and it definitely stands out! Paired it with another denim item in a darker color for a nice contrast. Hope you like it, guys!

EN: Yeah, people, I've dyed my hair a while ago. You must be thinking I'm too old for this, but trust me, age is just a number and the only numbers that count for me right now are the ones in my bank account. :))

As the outfit goes, I'm going cuckoo over palazzo pants lately. I've bought 3 pairs in only a few weeks. I had no idea they will look great on me, and when I've discovered that, I was as excited as Columbus when he discovered America. EN: An outfit that I wore a month and a half ago at the 7 years anniversary party of Marie Claire Romania. A lovely party that took place at a new pool from Bucharest in a rainy summer day.
All I can say is that I got soaking wet on my way to the party, underwear wet, if you know what I'm saying. :)) So I had to head back home, dry my hair, redo my make-up, dry my clothes and get back on the road to the other side of Bucharest...yeah, dreamy! I got a little wet at the party too, but Meli Melo offered some umbrellas and saved the situation a little.
Yes, I'm wearing a lot of pink, so take a long look, because you won't see me like that very soon. And the hair still had an orange hue, because now I'm a blonde, weather I want it or not.

EN: Apart from black that I began wearing increasingly more often, fringes are present quite frequently in my outfits lately. Proof are also these previous posts: Fringes here, fringes there, fringes everywhere! and Babe, stroll with that black fringed dress! Not to tell you that I just received a fringed denim vest. Hello, new obsession! :D
Since I praised so much the fringes, you can imagine how much I like the top (that btw now is on sale at just $9,99) from today's post. It has a boho-hippie air and a soft, easy fabric. I chose to wear it with a pair of 3/4 pants and colorful sandals for a casual, yet chic look. Summer is really here, so you won't see me in pants too often from now on.

A new beauty salon in town. Review

EN: A few weeks ago I got all pampered when I've visited a rather new salon in town, Salon Bram's. Got my nails and hair done and today I want to show you the result.

RO: Acum vreo două săptămâni am fost răsfățată la un salon relativ nou, Salon Bram's. Am fost invitată să încerc câteva servicii: manichiură și coafat, iar acum pot să vă povestesc și vouă despre ele.

De unghiile mele s-a ocupat Nuți și a făcut o treabă tare bună. Ea mi-a aplicat o ojă foarte rezistentă, asemănătoare celei semipermanente, dar care se poate șterge cu acetonă. Este vorba de Orly Epix. Eu am ales să îmi fac manichiura în două culori: un corai, o nuanță aprinsă perfectă pentru vară, și un auriu, care este șic și se potrivește cu noua mea culoare a părului.
