EN: The clock keeps ticking, time flies again. It flies so fast that I can't tell whether is night or day. I don't want it to fly like that, I want my time back. The years go too fast, I can't keep up with them. Look, is September already, where did the summer went?! Somewhere where I won't be able to recover it. At least I have these outfits to remind me of it, even though it wasn't the best summer, even though is one more summer I didn't enjoyed.
A summer day in which I wore a skirt that is too short. But you know what? I felt great wearing it. And with the white top it was a perfect match, it made such an interesting contrast. I will be wearing them in autumn too in other lovely combos.
I'm listening to the clock again, this time hoping it will bring a new better day.

EN: Beautiful days of summer begin with good friends. What can be better than sharing some time with the gals, making some photos, enjoying the sun and just talking about whatever. The day when I took these photos was one of those days. I love the days when I smile, when everything is so simple, when all the little things seem so much more important. Too bad that they are not as frequent anymore. I miss those days and I miss the old me. All the things we go through in life really change us, maybe not that deep down, but they still do. Sometimes we forget to smile and we just need somebody to remind us how to do it. Do you have that somebody in your life?
The outfit is that outfit perfect for summer: loose, comfy pants, a crop top and a hat. Simple, yet chic. Casual, yet fancy. Just like that.

EN: Last Friday I've met up with Rox from Braidy in a lovely park from Bucharest so she can work her magic. Her magic being the creation of beautiful braids. I've chose this Russian-style braiding thinking of this skirt I have for a while now. Rox did these cute braids in just 10 minutes and I like how they turned out. Braids are really in trend now so if you are thinking of this type of hairdo, you must know that Braidy comes to your home or office, you don't have to go to a beauty salon.

I'm a fan of midi skirts and I love the color green, so you can imagine how I love this skirt. Is out of stock now, but you can find many more beautiful models right here, a lot of them on sale now.

This being said let me now tell you my bf's reaction to my braids: "Sid, is that you?!". If you don't know who Sid is, I will tell you. Sid is the sloth from Ice Age, definitely a funny character, not a very attractive one though. :))) You can find some photos here. Yes, that is how my bf's complements me and makes me feel good. :))) I must admit, I laughed my ass off. So, girls, I'm Sid, nice to make your acquaintance! ;)

EN: Not the most flattering dress, but nevertheless an interesting dress. Kind of a RoboCop look. :)) I do like it though, it was time for a more, let's say, "futuristic" outfit.
Now, my dear fellow fashion bloggers, how do you survive winter photo shoots? They beginning to get at me lately, with all the layers and I can't still keep warm. If you look closer at these photos my hands have a very strange color. :) As you might guessed already they were froze, and let's keep in mind that I had hand warmers before the photo shoot. I do have a big problem with my hands and feet, they froze very quickly and they hurt like hell, almost an impossible pain to endure. Any tips to keep warm are more than welcomed.
Can't wait for spring, the best season for photo shoots! :)

RO: Nu e chiar o rochie ce flatează, însă este una interesantă. Un look cam de RoboCop. :)) Totuși mie îmi place, să zicem că era timpul pentru o ținută "futuristică".
Acum haideți să vă întreb ceva, suratele mele bloggeri de modă, cum supraviețuiți voi ședințelor foto iarna? Eu încep să nu le mai suport, chiar dacă port mai multe straturi tot îmi este frig. Dacă vă uitați atent la mâinile mele din pozele de azi, au o culoare tare ciudată. După cum bănuiesc că ați ghicit erau degerate, deși am purtat mănuși înainte de ședința foto. Am o mare problemă cu mâinile și picioarele, îmi îngheață foarte repede și mă dor îngrozitor, o durere aproape imposibil de îndurat. Orice sfat pentru a nu îngheța e mai mult decât binevenit.
D-abia aștept primăvara, sezonul perfect pentru ședințe foto! :)

Midi skirts and picnics

EN: Picnic time! Yesterday was picnic time. I attended a lovely event, promoting a brand of coffee, in the middle of the park, on the green grass with picnic baskets, badminton, books, games. It was fun! It was a great way to de-stress. We also took a walk in the park and admired the incredible lake full of water lilies. Such a dreamy lake! I will tell you more about the event on an upcoming post.

The outfit I wore was a bit retro and very comfy. I'm in love with this skirt! The photos doesn't do it justice at all, the colors on it are magnificent, brighter than in the photos, and the fabric is wonderful. I don't own many midi skirts, but I need to invest in this type of clothing because is versatile and, contrary of what they told you, can be worn by petite girls like myself. You just need the right pair of heels.
The hairdo didn't turned out like I've wanted, I wanted it to be more like in this post, but you can't have it all. :)) When it comes to hair I'm a mess, well the hair doesn't help me at all, is very thin and soft.

Tell me about you, what are your plans for the weekend?

RO: Picnic! Ieri a fost timpul pentru picnic. Am participat la un eveniment tare drăguț ce promova un brand de cafea delicioasă. A fost în Parcul Circului, pe iarba încă verde. A inclus toate cele necesare pentru un picnic: pătură, coșuri de picnic, gustări, jocuri, badminton, bicicletă, cărți. A fost distractiv! O modalitate foarte bună de a te relaxa în mijlocul unei săptămâni aglomerate. Ne-am și plimbat puțin și am admirat lacul plin de nuferi, ahhh, cât e de frumos! Vă voi povesti mai multe despre evenniment într-o viitoare postare.

Am purtat o ținută puțin retro și confortabilă. M-am îndrăgostit de fustă! Pozele chiar sunt departe de adevăr, are niște culori magnifice, mai puternice, iar materialul e tare fain. Nu am prea multe fuste midi, dar clar trebuie să investesc în piesa asta vestimentară pentru că e versatilă și, contrar a ceea ce se crede, este și potrivită pentru fetele micuțe de înălțime ca mine. Ai nevoie doar de o pereche potrivită de tocuri.
Coafura nu a ieși cum voiam, aș fi vrut să semene mai mult cu cea de aici, dar nu le poți avea pe toate! :)) Când e vorba de aranjatul părului sunt un dezastru, adevărul e că nici părul nu mă ajută deloc, are cel mai subțire fir și este și foarte moale.

EN: Is been a while since I worn this color. Yellow is definitely not the first color choice for me, but when I saw this pretty shirt I didn't thought twice, it had to be mine. I like oversized clothes and when they are tucked in they look even better. Decided to pair it with an old skirt, I have it for years and now is the second time I wear it. The highlight is on this beautiful, casual and comfy pair of sandals and on the accessories: head over heals for this clutch (see how I previously wore it here) and the funky-chic bracelet.
I'm beginning to like this hairdo, it makes me look taller. :))

Do you happen to discover in your closet old clothes you forgot about? Or even better, clothes that still have their label on? I love when this happens, is almost like I'm buying a new piece of clothing, this is how excited I get. :)) That was the feeling when I found the skirt from today's post. I was happy-happy, joy-joy. :)) I tend to adore clothes more than I supposed to. Sometimes I feel like every piece of clothing has a personality and a memory to go with it. Am I nuts or do you share these feelings too?

RO: A trecut ceva timp de când nu am mai purtat culoarea asta. Galbenul nu este, cu siguranță, prima mea alegere, dar când am văzut cămașa asta drăguță nu m-am putut abține și am luat-o, trebuia să o fac a mea. :) Îmi plac hainele supradimensionate, iar când sunt băgate în pantaloni, fustă mi se pare că arată și mai bine. Eu am decis să o combin cu o fustă mai veche, care deși o am de ceva ani acum este a doua oară când o port. Accentul l-am pus pe perechea asta mumoasă de sandale, potrivită pentru drumuri lungi, dar care cer să fii și nițel șic și pe accesorii: sunt îndrăgostită de plic (vedeți cum l-am mai purtat aici) și de brățara asta funky, dar și elegantă în același timp.
Deși inițial am fost reticentă, acum a început să îmi placă coafura asta, parcă mă face mai înaltă. :))

Vouă vi se întâmplă să descoperți în șifonier haine vechi de care uitaseți complet? Sau chiar mai bine, haine care încă au eticheta pe ele? Ce îmi place când se întâmplă asta, parcă aș cumpăra o nouă haină, atât de entuziasmată devin! :)) Așa am simțit și când am găsit fusta de astăzi, se citea fericirea pe chipul meu. :)) Am tendința să ador hainele mai mult decât ar trebui. Câteodată le atribui o personalitate și clar o amintire legată de ele. Sunt eu mai țăcănită sau și voi simțiți la fel?
