EN: When I think of the perfect item for the cold season, especially for autumn, the coat comes immediately to my mind. A piece of clothing that is both chic and practical, that we can find in a large variety of designs, colors and fabrics. A coat to keep me warm I was looking for some time now. Most of the designers are only thinking about the aesthetic part forgetting the confort and that's a No, no for me: there is no use in looking good if I'm freezing my ass off. Eventually I got lucky and found the coat that checked both requirements and it's made by a Romanian producer, Giorgal. It was a difficult task to choose it from all the designs that I've liked. I'm happy with my choice and for the first time I wore it decided to include it in an outfit that at first glance might look classical, but when you see the addition of an out of the ordinary element you'll change your mind. I'm talking about the unique "thing" I'm wearing over the shirt, that is included in the "lingerie" category on the site I bought it. I don't know how to name it, but you'll find more like it right here. EN: My lovelies, is really good to be back to blogging. I've missed it. But I'm here to stay. So let's begin this post by showing you my new hair color. Yes, I decided to put my boyfriend to work, to let him experience with my hair. Yes, I was brave, I took that risk, but the result was pretty good. Don't you think so?
On another note, I think that shirt dresses are such a good option for fall. I really like this jeans look-a-like one. On the site says it fits sizes between XS and M, I can even dare to say L, because I'm an M and is pretty loose on me. I wouldn't recommend it for an XS, it would be too large. This shirt dresses are a great alternative to regular dresses and if you want a look that is more urban is the right choice. For this season trench coats are a must-have too, so don't forget to add at least one to your wardrobe. There are plenty to choose from on this wide web.

EN: I remember having second thoughts when I bought this dress from a second hand store 3 years ago, but with time it grew on me. I must admit I didn't wore it too many times, is a little see through for my taste, but I do think is pretty cool. You can see how I've combined it in an outfit in the summer of 2013 right here: Michael Jordan has nothing on me.
Did you ever bought an item that you didn't liked that much at first and than began loving it more and more? Or maybe loving it the time you've made the purchase and eventually hate it? I did that a couple of times.
Although I like to buy unusual and out of the ordinary items, I'm still in love the most with pieces of clothing that are timeless. What is your go-to outfit?

EN: Although I always exclaim with conviction that green is my favorite color most often you will see me wearing blue. I don't know how I do it, but I frequently buy clothes in this color. In today's post I have already taken things to another level by combining various shades of blue. Maybe in the past I wouldn't bet on a mixture of sporty pants and heels, but today I do it without any hesitation. Although I always liked "out of the ordinary" outfits, I only accepted sport items in the gym. In time, I began to include them in my wardrobe, mostly sneakers and pants, but never included them in a fully sporty outfit. 

Don't be afraid to try combos between different styles: sporty, classic, bohemian, etc. Most times you will be admired for the courage and the special attire.

EN: With this selection of photos I want to make the announcement that I've joined the army, therefore my long absence from the blog. You have to know that it isn't that bad in the forces, from time to time they let us do photo shootings in places that are interesting and full of history. As you can see, I've been forced to cut my hair, not for other reasons but because I haven't done it for 3 months. Also you might have noticed that I have Germany's flag on my jacket. Well, our army was already full and besides that my skills were needed in a more advanced army. I can't complain, it was about time I had a schedule, my lifestyle was pretty chaotic.In other news, I'm glad I'm back to blogging. I haven't made an outfit post since the beginning of July (here). But I'm here now and ready to rock the stage. :)) In the breaks between the instructions I will shoot a few photos and other outfits will be ready for publishing in the next days.

The summer of festivals: my outfits

EN: As a teenager I used to like to listen to music. I discovered MTV, the old one, the one that used to have great music and I was impressed. After a while I stoped listening to music, for years I was just listening a song now and then. Everybody thought I was a freak. "How is possible that you don't listen to music?" was a question that I was frequently asked. At one point I had to start listening again, my boyfriend could not function without music, but I was listening only when he was with me, in my moments of solitude was a monumental silence which I adored. Last year, after a defining experience, me and music started to became good friends. So good that this year I attended more concerts than I did in my entire life: Maroon 5, Hollywood Vampires, Rock the City (Muse, Iron Maiden), Creative Fest, Untold Festival, Sunset Festival..and the year is not over yet.
Let me show you a few photos from those events, to be more precise, some of my outfits from those concerts. I haven't done many, I was busy enjoying the music.

I lived many great experiences, I've met cool people, I've tried new things, it was a hell of a summer.

EN: Yo, bro, is really summer here! How did I realized that you wonder? Well, I don't know. It might be because of all the uncovered bellies of hot, ferocious males that stroll the city or from all the alluring and inviting scents that "live" in the public means of transport or from all the barbecues that are at every corner: come take the sausage and steak, people! or maybe from the half naked buttocks that delight my vision immediately after I step out the door. Hmm, is possible. As it is possible also to be because of the sound of waves that hit the shore, of easy-breezy dresses, of sunburnt skin, of dreamy sunrises and sunsets, of the breeze that gives you goosebumps, of  kisses with burning lips. 
I think is an amalgam of all of the above.

And in summer you want comfy clothes, that is why I chose to wear this overall. The only downsize: a bit difficult to manoeuvre if you want to do number one or even two, it doesn't matter. :))) Well, sometimes you just have to hold it in, sacrificies are needed to be made if you want to look nice and presentable. :))

EN: Wow, already June! Summer! We can only think about vacation. Wherever our steps will take us, this summer we're looking for relaxation, but a lot of fun too. I don't know about your vacation plans (do tell), but I would love to take a road trip by train through Europe. I wouldn't say "no" to a visit to Lisbon or Naples, maybe a quick stop at Toulouse and Amsterdam, I would love to see Stockholm and Copenhagen as well and why not London and Dublin. The list is long, the trip would be the same. 

When you know you'll be walking tens of kilometres, the first thought that crosses your mind is to have a comfortable pair of shoes that allow you to enjoy the journey and not to suffer, in silence or not. :)) Deichmann will definitely be my companion in this vacation because it already gave me the perfect sandals: comfy, chic, good for long walks. Is easy to delight your eyes with beautiful landscapes that will arise along the way when you don't have to worry about a foot pain.

For my first stop, the one from Lisbon, I would like to wear this outfit: a "spanish" like dress , a practical and pretty hat, some accessories and a comfy pair of shoes. I think I will fit rather well in the Portuguese landscape.

EN: Yes, yes, still a big fan of culottes. Although I'm petite I would wear this piece of clothing on and on. Being high-waisted makes them easier to wear by not so tall women.  I do think is a versatile item. Combine it with a shirt or classy blouse for an elegant look or with a crop top or oversized tee if you want a casual outfit. For spring and summer be more daring and wear printed culottes in soft, flowy fabrics, you can also go for bright colors or pastels. You can spice up any outfit by adding a not so ordinary pair of shoes, just like the one I chose to wear in today's post. Mixing the color nude with the snake printed heels was a great idea, it makes these sandals stand out. You can find these beauties here.

EN: Hey, guys! I finally managed to post something, but you know the saying: better late than never. I hope now that the weather is getting better and better to get back to my old schedule.

I'm lacking inspiration for the text today, but I did prepared an interesting one for next time, is about the perks of being a single woman in her thirties, it will be spicy, you have to read it.

Since I've been gone I got a shorter haircut and dyed my hair grey, in the meanwhile my hair grew and the color has faded. :))

These sandals are waiting for some time to be brought to light and now that the weather have became kinder I did just that thing. 

I've chose a simple combo, but I've added some accents to make it a bit more special: the necklace, the bracelets, the sandals.

EN: Comfy, this is the word of the day. When you combine comfortable clothes with one of a kind designs you get a chic-urban look. For this outfit I went with non-colors and a touch of brown to make it a tad interesting. The jacket was the main ingredient, it provides the right dose of chicness and coolness. The fabric makes it perfect to be worn in spring and its design will always be in trend.
The key accessories for any outfit are a big smile and a right attitude. If you have those you're ready to rock the world. :D

EN: Howdy, cowboys! :D Yup, I did it, took some photos above the city. It might not seem like a big deal, but considering I'm afraid of heights it was a little adventure for me. Well, I do think it was worth it, the photos turned out pretty nice, don't you think so?
I know that in my latest posts I was in the mood to philosophize, but now I'm really tired and not capable to create a captivating text, so I'm going to tell you a few words about the outfit. I have a thing for oversized clothes, I'm having it for a while and is still going strong. That is why I'm wearing this cool jacket that I've mixed it with prints and wooden accessories. I was going for a classy, yet modern look and I think I've achieved it.

EN:  At a first glance you'll think this is a fashion blog, but lately my articles are in contradiction with this idea. Yes, the outfits are here, but the writings aren't that related with fashion anymore. If on my previous post I've talked about life goals, now I want to ask you how you spend your free time. Nowadays we have a lot of options, but many of us choose to relax having a drink or going to the movies. Having so many options means that we have the possibility to choose something more fun. For example, a few weeks ago I decided to put my mind to use in an interesting way, I went to an escape room. If you're not familiar with the term, an escape room is an adventure game in which people are locked in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit. I've tried two rooms at Complete Escape: The Maze - a cool room that gives you the creeps and Upside Down - where, as the name says, all things are upside down. Is been tones of fun! I truly recommend it, you'll have a blast.

Life is like a slop, is full of ups and downs and it only depends on us how we choose to act when we are up or down.

I remember when I was a kid how happy I was when spring arrived. I still am, maybe not that excited as back then, but still. What is your most vivid memory as a child? EN: Life is a constant running, but none of the marathon runners want to reach the finish line. The finish line means we have to stop forever, but we love to always move. Sometimes too much that we overlook that the moments when we stand still and just breathe are vital. We engage on all sorts of activities, one after another, without stopping. We believe that only they define us as a person. We forget to truly live, to be just us and a pleasant tranquility. Let's stop running on and on and remember to be happy with the moments of pause when we don't search or chase anything, when we don't hunt anything, when we don't plan strategies, when we don't think of the next day's projects, when we just live.

EN: I've planned a deep and meaningful post for today, but laziness took over and it seems I can't get in its way. But let me tell you, it would have been a good read for you if I wrote it. :))) Next time, I promise. For now let's stick to our usual routine, talking a bit about the outfit. Is a simple, yet effective one. 

You can create a similar one too. And although in winter we mainly wear dark colors and simple pieces of clothing, accessories are the one that saves us. In this particular case I wore a chic pair of earrings and I choose some otk boots to give to the outfit that special touch. You can go for a hat, a scarf, a bag, a cool necklace. Just try to add accessories to a look that you think is a bit dull and the way you see it will change in a sec: from dull to wow!

This dark navy sweater saved me on many occasions, is so easy to wear, you can combine it with everything. Don't forget when you go shopping to buy some basic pieces that can go with anything.

EN: What do you do when you have a torment inside you and peace seems just like a far away dream? Maybe you try to occupy your mind with all sorts of activities, maybe you listen to some calm music, maybe you meet up with your friends, maybe you read a good book, maybe you just try to smile so you induce the sensation of happiness to that cluttered mind of yours. But when the activities are over, the music stops, the friends go to their houses, the book is finished, the smile just doesn't want to stay on your face, the only thing that remains is to confront that torment, to fight those demons. God damn it, is a hard task, but not an impossible one. Today I decided (it may be a paradox) to fight for my peace.

And I might be fighting wearing this daring outfit. :))) This shirt makes me feel like I'm in a hip-hop video from the 90's and I did loved the 90's, so, baby, I love this shirt! Otk boots will always look great with mini or midi pieces of clothing. Wear them and your outfit will get even more chic. I'm a big fan of them and can't wait to show you other ways in which you can wear them.
