EN: OK, I confess, I really liked New Kids On The Block in my teenager years. That's why the title of this post. I even had posters with them, in fact I had posters with a lot of musicians and actors. They were all duct taped to my closet. :)) It looked like an altar. What music band you loved most when you were a teenager?
And although the title says "cool kid" I wasn't that cool kid everyone loved. I was the misfit, the weird, the kid that played football or handball with the boys, dressed in loose clothes or in sports shorts (you know why, for the football). I was the best at skanderberg, I was the one studying and reading when everyone else was going out, I've collected stamps and chewing gum surprises (Turbo mostly). I was the kid that would rebel and fight for everyone's rights. I hated injustice, I still do. I was the kid that wasn't afraid of anything and thought conquering the world was a piece of cake.
I frequently miss that kid.
I became the woman I am today because of that kid. I've had a lot of difficulties and hard times along the way, but I do hope a part of that kid is still here. I just need to bring it to surface.
But today you will see the woman, that sometimes acts like a kid (a photo below will show you that :))) and sometimes is more serious than an elder.

Summer hit: distressed jeans

EN: As the days go by I realize that summer is almost over and I didn't enjoyed it yet. In the last few years I haven't enjoyed summer like I used to. I miss going to the sea with friends, doing fun activities and sports, just lounging in the sun. I haven't done this anymore, I don't know why. I need to reclaim those moments as soon as possible! Do you get the feeling that as you grow up you begin to not live with the same intensity those little moments like you've used to?

Let's say a few words about today's outfit too. Distressed jeans are a big hit this season and I thought I would try a pair too. Although I ordered boyfriend jeans I got these tight jeans. I guess they are ok, but I sure have preferred a pair of bf jeans. I paired them with an oversized crop top (I'm nuts about crop tops, but I guess you already saw that :D) and some sexy heels from Steve Madden.
The earrings are a new acquisition and I love their baroque feel. You can wear them with a chic dress, with a pair of cigarette pants or with jeans. You have lots of possibilities. If you love them too you can buy them HERE.

RO: Pe zi ce trece îmi dau seama că vara e aproape de sfârșit și eu încă nu m-am bucurat de ea. În ultimii ani nu am mai trăit vara cum o făceam cândva. Mi-e dor să merg la mare cu prietenii, să fac tot felul de activități distractive sau doar să lenevesc la soare. Nu am mai făcut-o de mult timp, nu știu de ce. Trebuie să recuperez momentele alea cât mai repede! Și voi aveți senzația că cu cât vă maturizați cu atât trăiți, vă bucurați de clipele astea cu mai puțină intensitate?

Haideți să vă zic câteva vorbe și despre ținută. Blugii rupți sunt un mare hit al acestui sezon și m-am gândit să încerc și eu o pereche. Deși mi-am comandat blugi boyfriend am primit o pereche de blugi mulați. Sunt ok și ăștia, dar chiar aș fi preferat cealaltă variantă. Îi port cu un tricou supradimensionat scurt (sunt înnebunită după tricourile astea, dar cred că ați observat deja :D) și niște sandale sexy de la Steve Madden.
Cerceii sunt achiziționați recent și îmi place mult aerul lor baroc. Îi puteți purta în multe combinații: cu o rochie șic de vară, cu o pereche de pantaloni țigaretă sau cu blugi. Să vă vând și un pont: cerceii îi găsiți la promoție, la doar 7 lei AICI. Disponibili și pe albastru.

Wine red dress

EN: Hello, babes! Is a moody spring here in Romania, a few hot days followed by many cold and rainy ones. The photos from today were taken last week in a very hot day, almost summery. I chose something comfy: paired this wine red dress with my trusty transparent oxfords for a cool-chic look. I rarely use red in my outfits, but I definitely need to use it more. I think you can pair this wine red dress with almost any other color and it will still look great. I like it even more because you can wear it on spring with a jacket or just like that in summer.
In what color you think you look best?

RO: Salutare! Ce faceți, fetelor? Cum e săptămâna voastră? Și pe voi vă supără vremea asta capricioasă? Pe mine cam da, pentru că m-a împiedicat să fac poze pentru blog. Cele de astăzi sunt făcute săptămâna trecută într-o zi foarte călduroasă, aproape văratică. Am ales ceva confortabil: am combinat rochia asta grena cu dragii mei oxforzi transparenți pentru un look cool-șic. Port rar roșu, dar cu siguranță trebuie să port mai des. Cred că rochia asta grena merge purtată cu aproape orice culoare și tot arată bine. Îmi place și mai mult pentru că o pot purta primăvara cu o jachetă sau doar pe ea și câteva accesorii vara.
Cu ce culoare credeți că vă stă cel mai bine?

Rock-chic

EN: Hello, guys! I have so many outfits posts prepared for this week, I just hope I have the time to make them. I will begin with this rock-chic look that I wore last week on a rainy day. Although I usually wear more feminine and girly outfits, I must admit that I feel best in outfits like the one from today. I think they express my personality better.
The dress is so cool, it has some very unusual details! I didn't thought I could pull it off, that it would make me look bigger than I am, but the jacket tones it down a bit and I think I made it work. Don't you think so? How would you wear this dress?
Lately I've attended a lot of interesting events and I can't wait to tell you more about the experiences this week. I will also invite you to a great event. Tip: it involves make-up, hair-styling and nail-art. More soon.

RO: Salutare! Am pregătit atât de multe postări cu ținute săptămâna asta, sper doar să am timp să le fac. Încep cu look-ul pe care l-am purtat într-o zi ploioasă din săptămâna trecută, un look rock-șic. Deși de cele mai multe ori port ținute feminine și jucăușe, trebuie să recunosc că cel mai bine mă simt purtând ținute ca cea de azi. Simt că îmi exprimă personalitatea mai bine.
Rochia e foarte, foarte cool! Are niște detalii foarte neobișnuite. Nu credeam că o să arăt decent cu ea, că mă va face să par mai voluminoasă decât sunt, însă jacheta mai diminuează această impresie și chiar cred că am reușit să îi fac față. :D Nu credeți? Voi cum ați purta-o?
În ultima vreme am luat parte la câteva evenimente foarte interesante despre care d-abia aștept să vă povestesc. De asemenea vă voi invita să luați parte și la un eveniment grozav. Indiciu: implică make-up, hair-styling și nail art. Mai multe în curând.

Peter Pan collar and crocheted details

EN: It's raining cats and dogs here in Bucharest. The weather isn't friendly at all with this fashion blogger. But no rain, snow or other elements of nature can stand in my way when I want to take outfit photos. I wanted to show you this dress and I did! I love Peter Pan collars and crocheted details and the dress has it both. It takes me a little to the baroque period because of those details. I sure fancy it! Do you?

RO: Plouă cu găleata în București. Vremea asta nu e deloc prietenoasă pentru acest blogger de modă. Dar nici ploaia, ninsoarea sau alte intemperii ale naturii nu pot sta în calea mea când vreau să fac poze cu ce port. Am vrut să vă arăt rochia asta și am făcut-o! Îmi plac gulere "Peter Pan" și detaliile croșetate și rochia asta le are pe amândouă. Mă duc puțin cu gândul la perioada barocă aceste detalii. 
Chiar îmi place! Vouă?
