EN: I believe in clothes versatility. I think most of the clothes can be worn in various combinations. You just have to not be afraid to experiment, to dare, to think of the most crazy and unexpected combos, those are the ones that makes an outfit unique. One of the most versatile piece of clothing is the classic little black dress. You have tons of ways you can make a LBD unforgettable. For example in today's post I wear a simple midi black dress, accessorized in both outfits with the same accessories, the only difference is the shoes. And is a big difference, because they transform the outfit from casual to elegant. You see, just a small change and you can create a different look. Think about it, if I've changed the accessories, let's say with some punk-cool ones, and instead of the blazer I wore a jacket, a new outfit had been born. The ways in which you can wear this dress are endless. I would also have loved it with a pair of white sneakers and a bomber or varsity jacket, a sporty-chic ensemble.

Girls, I dare you, next week wear the same item in two different combinations, this will expand your horizon! And please do send me photos of those outfits!

Digital Divas 2014: How it was

EN: A week after Digital Divas I finally decided to tell you how the event went. I admit I didn't do it until now because I had a lot to write and I didn't had the patience these days. Adina and Rux made things easy because in their latest articles they shared their thoughts, thoughts and opinions I also share.
A few honest words about the event (more in my Romanian version). It wasn't organized that well. It took place in a tent and it rained heavily all day. We could barely hear the speakers and the rain drops got into the tent. My camera, dress and shoes got wet. The area for the snacks was outside and you needed to walk in the pouring rain 5-6 meters to get there. You would get all wet. There were just 5-6 tables there, without chairs, for hundreds of people. No places in the tent either, lots of people were standing during the conferences, even more during the award gala.

We should have heard the speakers talk about how to improve our blogs, about personal branding, about social media, but they just talked about themselves, they just promoted themselves and their projects. Only Lovely by Lucy gave us a few useful advices.

The award gala was disappointing too, exactly like last year. They still can't make the difference between websites and blogs. Most of the people who won have an entire team behind them: professional photographs, stylists, make-up artists, assistants etc. I would have loved to see as winners a few blogs that are administrated by only one person, the author. There were a few projects that I appreciate that won awards. Congrats to them!

The positive part of the event: socializing. I loved meeting bloggers that I follow, seeing again other dear bloggers. I'm sorry if I missed other blogger that I wanted to meet, but in that chaos I just didn't saw them.
Some other positive things: the cookies, the Starbucks coffee and the delicious ice-cream.

RO: La o săptămână de la Digital Divas m-am hotărât și eu să vă povestesc despre eveniment. Recunosc că am amânat pentru că știam că va fi o postare lungă și zilele astea nu am avut răbdarea să o scriu. Gagicile astea două, Adina și Rux, mi-au ușurat însă treaba. De ce, vă întrebați? Pentru că exact ce au scris ele în articolele astea: aici și aici sunt și părerile mele despre eveniment.

Așadar vă voi spune pe scurt și cu onestitate cum a stat treaba. Organizarea nu a fost prea bine gândită. Evenimentul a avut loc într-un cort. iar în momentul în care au fost câteva reprize lungi de ploaie torențială (adică pe tot parcursul zilei) nu numai că nu mai auzeam nimic din ce se vorbea pe scenă, dar eram și plouată. Da, da, multiple picături de ploaie mi-au udat aparatul foto, rochia și pantofii. Zona amenajată pentru servirea gustărilor era cam la 5-6 metri (cred) de cort, iar ținând cont că ploua cu găleata te udai într-o clipă dacă voiai să ajungi acolo. Ce găseai acolo? Vreo 5-6 mese, fără scaune evident. 5-6 mese pentru sute de oameni ce au participat la eveniment. Locuri nu au fost nici în cort, multe lume a stat în picioare pe parcursul conferinței și, mai ales, galei.

Conferințele nu m-au impresionat deloc. Ar fi trebuit să se vorbească despre branding personal, despre cum să îți îmbunătățești blogul, despre social media. Am crezut că voi învăța ceva care mă va ajuta să devin un blogger mai bun, informații utile, sfaturi, în schimb tot ce s-a întâmplat pe scenă a însemnat laudă, auto-promovare, fiecare speaker își lăuda proiectele, se lăuda pe sine etc. Poate doar Vicki Nicola a încercat să facă o prezentare din care să ne putem lua câteva notițe. Și bloggerul Lovely by Lucy a dat câteva sfaturi utile.

Gala, la fel ca anul trecut, m-a dezamăgit. Site-urile au fost iar "confundate" cu bloguri. La toate categoriile au existat în mare parte câștigători care au o întreagă echipă în spate: fotografi profesioniști, stiliști, make-up artiști, asistenți etc. Au existat și proiecte pe care le apreciez și m-am bucurat că au luat un premiu, dar din păcate, foarte puține. La fel au fost bloguri/site-uri încadrate greșit în categorii. Mi-ar fi plăcut tare mult să văd printre câștigători și câteva bloguri susținute doar de o persoană, de autorul blogului.

Parte pozitivă a evenimentului a fost socializarea. M-am bucurat foarte mult să cunosc bloggeri pe care îi urmăresc, să mă reîntâlnesc cu bloggeri dragi. La ce haos a fost totuși, am ratat mulți bloggeri pe care voiam să îi cunosc din simplul motiv că nu i-am văzut în mulțimea de oameni.
Alte câteva lucruri pozitive: prăjiturelele, cafeaua Strabucks și înghețata La Strada. :)

Pe scurt, ăsta a fost evenimentul. Ar mai fi multe de punctat, însă timpul nu îmi permite acum.

EN: Summer is near! In Romania it already feels like summer with the 30 degrees Celsius temperatures we're having here! That makes me think of the time I'm going to spend at the beach and of course of bathing suits.
For me there is no doubt, Asos.com has the best swimwear! Below are my favorite swimsuits.:) Get ready to be amazed!

RO: Vara e aproape! In Romania deja pare vara, temperaturile de peste 30 de grade Celsius ne-au luat cu asalt! Asta ma face sa ma gandesc la timpul pe care il voi petrece la plaja si bineinteles la costume de baie.
Pentru mine nu exista nici un dubiu ca Asos.com are cele mai grozave costume de baie! Mai jos vedeti costumele mele preferate dintr-o singura piesa.:) Pregatiti-va sa fiti fermecate!
