Fun is our middle name! :)

Although we were pretty tired me and Angie had fun on her last day in Bucharest (almost the last one:P because she left the next morning at 10 am). Went to Herastrau park and visited Muzeul Satului (The Village Museum) and took some funny photos. She wore that beautiful pleated skirt and the top she bought the day before. I just loved her outfit! Don't you think is great?! I wore a more casual outfit with some handmade touches ( the hand painted bag and the adorable brooches).

Another day in...

8/4/11

Yes, another fine day with my girl, Angie , visiting Bucharest! We met again with Laura and this time I proposed that we should go to Caru' cu bere, which is a traditional romanian restaurant and a historical monument. I thought is about time Angie tastes some romanian cuisine.:) After that we decided to visit Casa Poporului which is the second largest building in the world. We just took some photos outside, we didn't went inside..maybe next time. So what else a bunch of girls can do when they're in town??!! Of course, you're right..Go shopping! And that's what we did. Me and Angie bought a beautiful red maxi skirt that I will show you in a post soon. Angie also bought a great dress. This is the short story of that day, if you want to read more about it you should check Angie's post: Bucharest (part 3).

Like I've told you on my previous post my dear friend, Angie from Belgium, decided to visit me this summer. We spent a lovely time here in Bucharest. If you're interested you can read all about her experience in Romania on these two posts: Bucharest (part 1) and Bucharest (part 2). On Sunday we met another fellow blogger, Laura from Tokyo and Seoul Dreams and went to a coffee place where you can smoke narghile. We did have fun!

Girls in the city!

7/29/11

You think I should have learned my lesson and do a back-up of all my datas when the computer broke a few months ago and I lost everything. You better think twice! I didn't do that and my computer broke again 11 days ago and guess what?? Yes, you sure are guessing right! I lost everything I had in it again! What I hate the most is that I lost all of my photos, memories from different periods of my life that I cherish so much.:(

But these last few days had a great part too! I finally met Angie from Papillon Chouette  in person after talking online for almost a year. She came from Belgium to see me..wow! You can read about her tumultuous journey from Belgium to Romania here. I first discovered Angie on chictopia: angiekje and thought she is really chic and after that we easily became friends. Will tell you more about her vacation in Bucharest and the other lovely blogger we met for the first time in the next posts, but now I want to show you a couple photos from those days.:)
